Dr. Depala is a psychiatrist at Regeneration Psychiatry’s Redondo Beach practice, providing comprehensive, individualized psychiatric care for adults in both in-person and telehealth settings.
He takes a thoughtful, collaborative approach grounded in a deep understanding of each patient’s history, values, and lived experience. He is known for a calm, steady clinical presence and an approachable style that brings warmth, optimism, and clarity to his care, combining careful listening with practical, insight-oriented treatment. He emphasizes shared decision-making and works closely with patients and referring clinicians to develop treatment plans that are aligned with each patient’s goals.
Dr. Depala treats a broad range of psychiatric conditions, including depression, anxiety disorders, bipolar disorder, ADHD, PTSD, OCD, psychotic disorders, and substance use disorders. He also has specialized training and experience in interventional psychiatry.
He completed his psychiatry residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, where he served as Chief Resident. He earned both his undergraduate and medical degrees through the BA/MD program at the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Medicine, graduating at the top of his class. He was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society in recognition of academic excellence and clinical distinction, and to the Gold Humanism Honor Society for his commitment to compassionate, empathetic care.
Originally from Chicago and raised in Southern California, Dr. Depala enjoys traveling, exploring new cultures and cuisines, and spending time outdoors, whether walking along the coast, hiking local trails, or simply enjoying the Southern California sun.
